Celebrating 75 Years of Community Impact

“Big things often have small beginnings”

We are thrilled to be celebrating our 75th anniversary in 2016.  What started with eleven volunteers, four agencies, an $80,000 campaign, and one staff person, has grown to thousands of volunteers and supporters, a network of community partners, year-round fundraising of $5 million and a skilled staff team. As we celebrate this milestone, I invite you to join me in a journey of remembering our past, celebrating our present, and looking forward to our future.

And We’re Not Stopping There!

75 years is more than just a beginning. But that’s where United Way Kitchener-Waterloo & Area is today; turning the page on a new chapter. Advances in technology, and changes in society are challenging the way we find solutions to social problems. We have learned a lot over 75 years. Through research, and collaboration with our supported agencies, United Way is ensuring the investment we make in people leads to a stronger community. Together, we are possibility.
